At Lionsville we have no bosses. No human (or ai ;) will tell you what to do and how to do it. There is high autonomy for everyone to shape the way they work and how they show up.
However with that freedom comes great responsibility, as the pack depends on each other. Your team is responsible to deliver the promise to the customer.
To make it easier to navigate that freedom, we have created the Lionsville principles to serve as a compass. As soon as you become part of Lionsville you will also be connected to a Mentor. Another Lion who is there for you, to help you to evolve as a Lion and as a person.
In addition part of working in Lionsville means you do not only work “in” the system (delivering on the promise to the customer) but also “on” the system. Working “on” the system might be taking part in:
- creating clarity about what role(s) you are filling and what the accountabilities of those roles are,
- co-designing the purpose of the team you become a part of with, providing feedback about processes that are being (re-)shaped on a day to day basis.
- With the purpose and principles as your course and compass, with a mentor as your support system and with the clarity created about what is expected of you as participating in a Team or Role.
